Urea provides agricultural crops with nitrogen throughout the entire growing season. It contains three forms of plant-available nitrogen: amide, ammonium, and nitrate (after soil transformation), ensuring optimal plant nutrition. Recommended for soils with pH below 6.5. During decomposition, it initially has an alkalizing effect on the soil solution, followed by a slight acidifying effect. This environmentally friendly and plant-safe fertilizer has a wide range of applications: from autumn application to improve harvest quality to use as an anti-stress agent. It is the only nitrogen fertilizer suitable for rice cultivation
Urea (Carbamide)
- Contains a significant amount of nitrogen in forms easily absorbed by plants. Rapid water solubility ensures even nutrient distribution and fast onset of action
- Ideal for foliar applications, allowing plants to quickly compensate for nitrogen deficiency, especially under stress conditions or during periods of active growth
- Ideal for foliar applications, allowing plants to quickly compensate for nitrogen deficiency, especially under stress conditions or during periods of active growth
- High solubility guarantees fast action, while the gradual transformation process provides prolonged effects
- The amide form of urea in the soil is first converted into ammonium and then into nitrate, sequentially and evenly supplying nitrogen to the plant to meet its needs at different growth stages
1. Pre-sowing application — do not exceed 30 kg of active substance per hectare. Foliar and/or soil top-dressings should cover 50–80% of the crop’s nitrogen requirements. In areas with insufficient moisture, urea may be applied during cultivation or plowing already in autumn.
2. Mandatory soil layer between the seed and fertilizer when sowing small-seeded crops (beet, carrot) to protect the seeds.
3. Most effective use of urea during the growing season — as a solution, providing rapid and uniform access to nutrients.
4. Foliar application should be performed in calm weather, in the morning or evening, with a urea solution concentration not exceeding 25%.
5. Safe solution concentration for leaves — urea can be applied at concentrations up to 25%, whereas for ammonium nitrate it should not exceed 5%, reducing the risk of plant burn.
